Default grammar police

some people get upset with others who sometimes end up being called grammar police...but English can be complicated....not written correct, a sentence can mean different things...or just punctuation...
check this one out....just a couple of commas or semicolons...

Quote:
An English professor wrote the words: "A woman without her man is nothing" on the chalkboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly.

All of the males in the class wrote: "A woman, without her man, is nothing."

Are you ready for this?

All the females in the class wrote: "A woman: without her, man is nothing."

Punctuation is powerful.

They say you're not complete until you're married---then you're finished.

Just shows what a woman knows....I do believe the 'w' in 'without' should have been capitalized in their example...No?
Maybe not, I dunno...

For years the Armed Forces used the recruiting slogan:

There's no life like it!

Better minds punctuated it;

There's no life. Like it.
