Default 04 gto wheels on a 95 trans am

i have a set of 17 inch wheels from a 04 gto. i want to put them on my 95 trans am. what do i need to do to get them to fit. I read a article some time ago about doing this but can't recall what was done.

nope
I tried it on my 97.
lug pattern is off
120 vs 120.7
center hub hole is different too,
so the GTO wheels wont go over the hub or axle flange

thanks for the reply. i saw where it had a ridge on the inside hub then opened up lower. and i saw that the lug pattern was .7 off. i though i read a article in hi Performance Pontiac where they machined the centers to remove that ridge then put the rims on. don't remember the rest of the article. Just wondering if anyone else did. They would look great on the T/A.

get some Vette wheels
they fit and are easier to clean.
If youve had to clean the 17" GTO wheels a few times youll see why

found that i only needed to cut the ridge out of the center where they did not machine it all the way down to the bottom. only needed to take out about seven to ten thousands for it to go on over the rotor hubs with about 5 thousands for expansion between the rotor and hub.. worked fine after that.

lemme see
hub centric wheel
lug centric car

hub centric is wrong for car
lug centric is wrong for car
Did you notice any aluminum flake off the lug holes when you torqued it down?
