Even the VC1809 may have the range shorten some for 10 degrees at crank?

VC1809 (stamped B27), starts at 5-7 in/hg, max advance 9 degrees at distributor (18 at crank) @ 10-12 in/hg.

The NAPA vacuum advance units are quickly becoming extinct. I suspect the same from other sources.

A few months ago we went thru our list of part numbers, and all but 3 vacuum units had been discontinued.

You may end up getting a B-1 can and reducing the travel to obtain exactly 10 degrees at the crank. I can't provide the exact part numbers from NAPA, etc as we lost that information when our hard drive crashed.......Cliff

I was using dist degrees, not crank when he said 10º.

Sounds like the Crane kit would fit the best.

I found this awhile back and found it quite useful. I went with the B1 (Part# VC680 NAPA) myself and limited the advance. Specs and part numbers in the back. All the part numbers I looked at were available from NAPA in the Denver area.

Damn sure can't argue with Greg though...
