ring and pinion install kit 8.2corp compared to 8.2 BOP

I went to the auto parts store today and instead of a 8.2 BOP ring and pinion install kit they gave me a 8.2 corp. All the kit contains is the cover gasket, pinion shims, carrier shims, crush sleeve, pinion sleeve, ring gear bolts, and pinion nut. Will it work even though it is for a 8.2 corp. rear? Or will I need to get a specific 8.2 BOP kit? Its a motive gear mini installation kit GM8.2IK
