Ring Gear Swap??
Not sure! I have a 3:73 Posi in my 70. Buddy has a non posi 3:23. I'm wanting more highway friendly (Great Street car) but want to put on some miles this summer. Can a guy change out ring gears on carriers & pinions to have the 3:23 Posi?? Thanks for any Help Craig.

There were three carriers.
One fits anything lower than 2.93. The middle size fits 2.93-3.08-3.23 The last one fits 3.36 & up. So you would need another carrier. |
