Hello, Spring is finally here!! Getting anxious to get this car back on the road. Question? I have the motor out of my 64 gto and would like to replace the heater core at this time. It had aftermarket air, so I think the heater core should be the same as the non air. I also was told that I might have to remove my inner fender to access the 6th bolt on the firewall. Is this true or is there an easier way. Any input appreciated Thanks

you can reach that nut on the 6th bolt without removing the wheel well. After you replace the core, leave the nut off the 6th bolt. It is not necessary.

thanks for the tip Engineer! The bolt was already removed and the unit came right out! someone was in there before. I noticed the blower motor looks like you definately have to take the inner fender out to remove. I better check and make sure it works. Thanks again, Derek
