Ram Air Boots
How do you keep these from sticking to the air cleaner and tearing them? I don’t drive the car much, but I’ve just ordered yet another set of replacement boots. I have tried a light coat of oil on the bottom of the rubber. Next set, a light coat of grease. Any suggestions?

Probably something that doesn't dry or evaporate and set with heating. Or a preventative for the rubber like 303.

Permatex makes a silicone spray that works very well on rubber/ weatherstrips. I would use that.
