KeyMe automatic key duplication kiosk
I saw this kiosk in a local gas station / convenience store yesterday. Apparently you just stick your key in the slot, choose some options on the touch screen, and it pops out a duplicate key. It wasn't clear how much it costs, I imagine that depends on what kind of key you have.
I looked them up online, and it can do house keys and car keys, including those with chips in them, and also can duplicate key fobs and RFID cards. I've never heard of them before but they're nationwide. There are more than 20 kiosks scattered around in various locations in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. Has anyone else seen one, and if so have you tried it out? https://key.me |

I’ve used this before for a 2004 Chrysler with the chip. Works great but they mail you the chipped key in about a week. Was several years ago I think I paid around $50. I’m sure it will be more costly depending on make year and model. It was a chipped key only no key fob.

Keys that have anti-theft chips in them can't be copied... like what my 2002 Jeep GC uses. It might start but the engine quits in 3 seconds.
I had to use the Dormond canned setup that the makes the switch match the key. Put the key in the canned switch and turn it both ways to cut the switch to match it.
