1970 Trim Tag letter A
In looking over 1970 Norwood trim tags, occasionally I've seen a letter marked on the line where the model code is stamped.
For example: W66 A There is a gap between the end of the model code and the additional letter. It's been found on Norwood T/As and Formulas. I can't recall seeing this mark on an Esprit or base. What does the 'A' signify? Were other characters besides 'A' stamped in this position?
