Honey Combs all same bolt pattern?
I am looking at a used set of 15x7 wheels. Did Pontiac ever make H.C. wheels for big cars or just sizes for Firebirds, GTO and G.P.? Anything I should look for besides cracks or hogged out bolt holes? Thx.

pretty sure they were all 5x4.75. aside from cracks in the rubber face & bad lug holes, check for the center hub distortion from balancing wrong which is very common on these. & roll them on the ground for a few feet to watch for any wobble or uneven signs.

No honeycomb wheels were available on big cars.

Honeycombs 5x 4 3/4 only but there were Snowflakes to fit every carline size from 13x6 4x100 to 5x5. . 6" and 7" were available in many sizes but 15x8 was 5x 4 3/4 only.

So in 1976 you could get Honeycombs in a Firebird and Snowflakes in a Sunbird. First snowflakes are Sunbird 1976, last Honeycombs 1976. |

Yup part of the reason I bought the V8 Sunbird and not a Monza or Starfile were the Formula steering wheel and the Snowflake wheels even though the build took a long time to get the posi.. Have always liked H-bodies.

LUG centric balancing is a must, unless you balance them on the car as we used to do with vettes in the 70's. At the GM dealership I worked at.
