Default 1972 GTO #'s match 4 speed

1972 GTO with all number matching 400, 4 speed and non posi 3:23 gears. I am the 3rd owner of this very solid GTO that has a factory 2 tone paint option in original colors. Body is very solid with only minor rust showing on lower rear quarters and some on lower right front fender, floor pans are perfect, as car was undercoated when new. Paint is ok, but has had some paint work done on front fenders. Interior is near mint condition with perfect dash, with only flaw being a split on driver seat bottom. Car runs and drives great, and is all stock with exception previous owner put a complete front and rear all Hotchkiss suspension on it . This kit is comprised of front and rear sway bars, boxed control arms, adjustable upper control arms, front and rear springs, ball joints and tie rods, and Bilstein shocks all the way around. Over 3k was spent on this upgrade and has very few miles on it since completion. Also has new exhaust system. Front valance is bent, but I have a brand new one that goes with it. This is a factory A/C car, and all parts are intact, but is not currently working. This is a great car, and one of around 1500 400 4 speed cars in 72. This is also a very early built car 8/31/71 and build sequence number of being the 494th car built for the 72 model year. I do have the PHS. $11,500.00

Y'all need to stop giving these cars away. I swear, I'll buy this just to make 10k. Needs work, but underpriced for sure.

I thought 72's all had bezels around the turn signal lamps, or are my eyes tired and just don't see them?
Nice car and nice price too. This should sell soon.

Many years ago I picked up a one owner orange 72 hardtop, and I'm pretty sure it had original paint. It was missing the chrome on both of the front turn signals.

That car was a low option bench seat column shift car, so I thought the chrome might have been part of the upgrade when the Lemans Sport was ordered. I think the GTO option was available on the base Lemans and the Lemans Sport. Base Lemans had bench seats with columns shift.
