Default Cowl Tag
If a 1973 Trans Am has a cowl tag that reads " 2FS87" does that mean it is a Firebird or a Trans Am? It also does have WS4 on the third line.

2FS87 on a cowl tag will tell you that it is a Firebird model.The VIN # will tell you that it is a Firebird,Formula,or T/A. I dont know what the other thing is your asking info for,maybe someone else can chime in....
