Default 69 Two tone Expresso brown with a painted Cameo top?? Rare?

My brother is the 2nd and 5th owner of a 69 GTO 4-speed car. It is a two tone car. Expresso brown with a Cameo top. Not a vinyl top. How rare of a color combo is this? I have not seen many like this. Any way to find out how many were built this way? Any ideas on anyone who might know? My brother keeps asking to see if I can find out for him. Thanks for your help and time.

2 tone GTO's and Judges are very rare.
Really seldom seen on any A-Body for any year.

Production totals on special paint cars or 2 tone cars , have never been made available to us.
1970 GTO has a breakdown on production colors , think its all I have seen.

If it gets to where he just can't sleep without knowing
Tell him a guy on internet said there were 7 built in that combo
4 - M40 Automatics
2 - M20 4 speed ( 1 went to Canada )
1 - M13 3 speed

If his has M21 4 speed , tell him it is unaccounted for.

Two tone ran at a few percent of production and I’d think cameo would be the most popular top color on a expresso lower

Diego, I can't do that to my brother. LOL. I just think it is pretty cool that he is the 2nd and 5th owner of the car.

Post pics and I'll put it up on my two-tone page on FB:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1677389095611174/

I saw a similar car at the GTO Nats in Saratoga Springs (was that 10 years ago already?).

I'd speculate, without any basis of fact, that most Expresso Brown cars were ordered by older folks, so finding a 4-speed like your bro's is kinda cool. Of course, Baron's list shows 4/3 ratio between auto/manual for the two-tone cars so I just may be full of it.

I think Expresso Brown with a gold top would be awesome.

If it is rare it's because no one wanted one in that combo way back when it was new.

I'm not sure how old the original owner of the car was. I know my brother sold it back to him when he moved because of garage space or lack of it. The original owner was going to tell my brother if he was ever going to sell the car to let him know. That never happen. About a couple of years ago, I found it on CL in NY city area. I called on it and asked him loads of questions about. I was sure it was my brothers old car. I had to call my brother every other day to get him to call on it. After about two weeks my brother finally did. I'm just glad he has it back. I'll try to post a picture when I figure out how. LOL. The only thing that was changed on it was the carb. I found him the correct numbers carb this year for his birthday! Thanks for everyone's help.

I think that's a facile way of looking at it.

It doesn't suggest whether it's off-putting or demand was elsewhere, like vinyl tops. I bet two-tone GTOs from 1969 were built at a smaller rate than regular pedestrian A-bodies. And there's the opportunity for more trim combinations.
