Default 64 GTO Vintage Air w/LS

I'm trying to sort out my plan for adding Vintage Air to my car. I currently have a 2000 5.3. I have ICT billet brackets for PS and alternator. I've been looking at using their compressor bracket also. https://www.ictbillet.com/ls-truck-l...-7176-lq4.html Then I realized it's essentially the same as the truck mount and tensioner. Looks like it will fit perfectly with no cutting. Question is concerning the factory truck compressor. I think they are variable displacement. Have read that this may not be compatible with Vintage Air. Truck pulley is 4-rib. Vintage air only lists an 8-rib option. Might work with a 4-rib? One guy said he used this Denso compressor: https://www.amazon.com/Denso-471-918.../dp/B000C5UHOM Anyone have this already figured out?

I can't confirm this, but I read somewhere that the early truck compressors are static displacement and would work with Vintage Air setups? Like a 1999 and maybe 2000. I have only searched this topic because I have considered an LS swap for my car and thought maybe that would be an added bonus on cost savings if I could use an existing compressor I have.

Ok. I'm not sure either. I'll try to contact VA for and see what they say.
