I don't get my car out much at all. In fact, so little, many of my friends don't even know I have it. Sad really. LOL

Anyway, last week I spent the time to get it cleaned up including clay bar and polish. My daughter took this picture last Thursday after I was done. It hacked the original 1960's 421 ad. It turned out kinda cool.

Finished the great panel realignment of '24. After I fixed the door gap, I pretty much had to do realign the entire front end. I'm kind of limited with what I could do since the car is painted. I had to make a few compromises, but overall it's better.

We took the cars to a local show yesterday. My son took the day off from work so we could take both cars. Pretty good showing of Pontiacs at the show, but I didn't take any pics. I met a couple of forum members who recognized my car

Went out for a cruise and a kid down the street smacked my GTO with a damn basketball on the curve of the roof , it rippled it . It’s one of those hillbilly basket ball hoops that parents put in the driveway and fill with sand , why ? Use the gd courts in the park that we pay taxes for ! Not the first time that I’ve had to live by a neighbor with one of those trashy hoops .

Time to call the paintless dent removal expert in your area and hand the bill to your neighbor.

That's a pisser... sorry to hear that. Hope the neighbor helps you make it right and you can forgive the kid some day. It's hail season here so those paintless repair guys are more than busy.

Helped make room for Pontiacs-
Spent the weekend and today gathering 1,500 pounds of scrap metal- no Pontiac pieces though! Only got $134, sort of a bummer. Looks like about another 1,000 pounds or so to haul away tomorrow. My century-old farm barn's been collecting junk for the whole 67 years it's been in my family.

Lemans was accepted by BaT so needed to throw it on a friend's lift for underside pix. Spotted this in the yard:

On the way back the engine ran weird, like missing a spark plug. Code reader showed P0202 - #2 injector.

Wonderful.

Evidently these direct injection engines are known for this type of thing.

That really sucks. I hope the paintless guys,or somebody, can get it fixed for you.

I haven't yet picked up my "new" Pontiac (1926), but received the title today.

Put the Cliff rebuilt carb on the 71 after trans rebuild last September. Started the car today in preparation for Car d'Alene Friday night cruise night. Anywhere between 300 to 400 cars on the Friday night cruise.

Coffee and Cars this morning, took the ‘02 WS6 this time.

Saw a nice ‘64 Le Mans coupe with a Tri-Power 400 under the hood.

My son would love that ‘64!
Figured I’d mention it here, since I don’t know how many looks the wanted ads get. My son down in Central Florida is looking for an old car. He’s really looking for a ‘64- 71 A body Pontiac, but would consider other GM’s. Looking for a nice solid driver for him and his family, and is way too busy with life for a project. See my post in the A body wanted if you can think of anyone in that part of the country. He’s willing to drive a little to look, just doesn’t want to waste his time. No replies to the post yet.
Anyway, yeah that ‘64 is right up his alley if it were for sale on the right coast.
