My 73 T/A had the cable over the trans. I got this car from the 2nd owner same family & the trans & or engine had never been out fro any reason & it had only 64K on it when I bought it. The cable on it was over the trans & was routed through the welded tab on the floor pan & through a loop at the trans mount on the right rear corner of the mount.
