The car pictured came out of Switzerland.

They had some customized cars back in the seventies/eighties.
American cars used to be very popular there.
both GM and Chrysler even had local assembly plants in the sixties/very early senventies.

The T/A in question was recently advertised for sale in Germany.
To me this is a one off custom that someone did back in the day.
