As I recall it was made into one side of the kick down switch, 2 wires on one side of connector ,part of the harness. ( IRRC) Since you run a Detent cable ( TH350) and Not an electric kickdown on that car, should be easy to just power that switch ( orange wire to fuse box) , and then off to the shaker?? Your foot would determine the shaker and not as much the gear though, which might be a good think ? You have the correct pedal and switch? I have a spare if not.
