'78 Intake Adapter Plate ID
Need help identifying adapter plate on bottom of intake gasket for a ’78 400. I recently purchased this TA and now rebuilding the carb. Thin sheet metal with protrusions into the primary holes of the intake. It did peel off the gasket and I cleaned up both sides with 400 paper. Unable to find anything in the shop manual referring to this plate. Metal to metal with no sealant, doesn’t seem right for an intake. Thanks
