I’m not sure if this is still true regarding the 8 bolt setup, but I’ve heard multiple guys on this forum say they had cooling issues with 11 bolt water pumps that had the stamped impeller. The 11 bolt GMB pump has the apparently desirable and correct cast impeller.

The flowkooler impeller functions similarly to the cast style. Unfortunately the flowkooler is twice the price of the GMB.

I suppose you could remove your current pump, if it’s a stamped impeller and worked fine, just grab the GMB
