Default Update & Setback

Tore the carb apart (original 7041267) and rejetted (leaned it out slightly) and reinstalled and couldn't get the front inlet (big one) to stop leaking. We discovered it was heli-coiled, gasket seat was gouged up, and also found 3 stripped air horn to main body holes. It was sucking air in from everywhere and was its own major vacuum leak...disappointing. So 3 carbs later we finally got another 7041267 carb on the motor that ran really well. The original carb is going out to be repaired (hopefully) if it can be.

So no burn-out yet, but the quick run down the road and opening the secondaries in 2nd gear lit up the tires! Never had that happen before.
