The 69 firebird assembly drawing 9796500 clearly shows that there is no 5th splash on a 69 bird.
Additionally, the same drawing shows two splash shields mounted to the rear inner fender supports. These splash shield are a completely different shape than those used on the camaro. The firebird shields are simple square pieces and have no fancy shapes or cutouts.
Oh and the plastic disk looking front radiator air baffle retainer shown in the picture aboe is incorrect for a 69 bird. It should be a formed steel flat spring style clip. I don't know what the hole is for as my originals do not have this hole.
