Lloyd – I have to agree with Alan regardless of what your MPC chart shows. I have seen many ’73 and ’74 SD’s and have owned a couple myself. I have never seen anything other than the 205 distributor in any of them. I did see a 243 for sale once and it was advertised as a service replacement part. I can’t believe all those cars have had the distributor replaced. There is a ’74 here in town that has less than 200 original miles on it and as I recall, it also had the 205 distributor (I will try and verify).
