I have had many engines in it since then, most with 455 SD and 473 Butler short block and RA IV heads.

1st Pic from Indy with the 473 engine probably.
2nd is back in 79...

Yes, probably low 13's. Could be better because once in 3rd it ran great. (hookwise)

My buddy and I were about equal....

Ran low 8's in 1/8th mile, usually spinning all the way. (street tire)
Later on put a RA III and 4 speed in it. Night and day difference....

My friend who had a 70 Chevelle 396, always claimed my car weighed a lot...

Stamped.
On forward arm of hinge. Right above the pivot point on engine side of hinge. (about an inch above?)
Same for driver side except has '525' stamped.

Always wondered if people thought that the gauges were included?
