If you're not concerned about looking factory(aluminum in color but same size) you might consider the "Pro6 Ten" aftermarket compressor. Much lighter and fits in place of the original. Also much less...

If the problem did not exist before the carb. rebuild then that is where you should start looking. Don't start looking for a different problem. Go back to where it all started...the carb. rebuild.

I didn't trust my temp gauge so I got an Auto Meter electric gauge. I didn't want to cut a hole for a mechanical gauge. Very accurate, unlike the old electric gauges.

I also have GW rear control arms with the del-a-lum bushings and rubber in the rear housing uppers. No squeaks, no rattles and NO wheel hop. Highly recommend them.
