Thanks to all for the info. Does anyone know when the grain actually changed? I heard 70-73 would have the same grain pattern but I can't say for certain. Again thanks for your time.

I recently acquired a 70 TA 4 speed. My question, is the 70 console a one year only? If so does anyone have any pics? If not one year only what years would be correct? Thanks in advance.

I thought I read someplace that they could have come from the factory in black, silver and gold. Of course gold seems to be the most common for the aftermarkets. Thank to all for the info....
