There’s definitely something there, I can slightly feel the spot like it’s pitted. I took new pictures of the three mains, two out of three have a small spot.

Weird bearing marks

I decided to pull some caps to take a look at the bearings in the 40k mile 400 that I own. The motor ran great when I tested it, never drove it unfortunately. Looking at the main caps the bearings...

According to the live stream last night his goal is to have these priced slightly above the E-heads but he’s going to be using better parts to build them. I don’t want to quote prices because he...

It’s disappointing to hear that Olds heads are less because I’d agree that there’s no way that they sell more of them vs Pontiac but it’s pretty tough to shell out around $2,000 for a reworked iron...

I didn’t buy anything, the pricing for them is still per head, $2200 or $2600 for the set, just making sure those who are looking know. Also, IF the going rate for cast iron heads being machined with...

WTB 6X-4 Heads

I’m looking for a set of ready to run 6X-4 heads for my ‘68 400, would prefer to find something in New England to avoid shipping costs but would take the right set if it had to be shipped.
