It's worth a try. Mine has already re-cracked just due to the sun and especially around the "ears" because my two helpers were holding it that way when we were trying to re-mount it.

Hmmm...all I did was try to move the shaker out of the way as the flapper is hooked up to a vaccum line. It is newish as well.

I tried to fix mines with the two piece unit begrudgingly...still leaks of course

I've learned to live with it as I have never had a non-leaky pontiac 😑

I used to run K&N but the one listed doesn't fit neither.

I found the Wix one on amazon but I'll try to return this dang fram first. Maybe the previous owner mucked with the base...
