Gateway Drag Strip Storm Damage
 

Some bad storms passed through the St. Louis area on Thursday. A big oak tree snapped off in my front yard. Gateway (WWTR) Drag Strip had a whole grandstand blown out onto the track. I've been trying to get out there for T&T. Ugh. :(

I hope they fix it rather than sell. We need all the tracks we can get.

I thought I saw an article on the NMCA site saying they were putting everything back together.

We have an event there the weekend of May 2-5.

They had another storm blow through on Saturday with 80 mph straight line winds.

Cleaned up the mess and finished racing on Sunday.

Yep. I was there for a while Saturday. This bad weather pattern will only worsen I'm afraid.
