This is what he posted:

Classic 1966 Pontiac Catalina/Ventura, 4 door, four barrel 421 V8, dual low-restriction exhaust, three-speed Hurst linkage transmission, heavy-duty suspension, & custom steering wheel. Has twin tail lights, 2 + 2 badges, vertical air slots behind the doors, & Pontiac '421' emblems. Only 6,383 Catalina 2+2 models were built for this model year!

He could have put some Ferrari or Grand Prix emblems but didn't. I'll give him credit for that. LOL

If it's a "must see" you think they would post some pictures. Truth is it's a must not see!

Rusted shell for $1k. No wheels, front clip, engine, interior, etc included. What's left of the car will have to be replaced or repaired. But, it could be made into a GTO convertible clone, if you buy a real GTO to use as a parts car.

Don't know what he put $25K for, or even bothered to list it on eBay.
Here it's listed at $1.

Glad no one has tried to list a really nice car. After looking at the prices on these rustbuckets, a nice car would go for millions! :gag:

Over pricing it on E-bay it will never sell, but using the E-Bay listing to advertize he has it on Craigslist he may get to more people.

Check out this moron's ad. He even comes up with production numbers of a car that was never built in '72. You must read the whole ad to get the full effect. He's a constant flipper and writes the dumbest s#hit possible...can anyone actually believe this stuff?

http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/cto/4251557910.html

Update. He changed the ad...he was calling it 1 of 5,000ish GT-37's built in '72.

4 speed lemans sport / gto 72 (hudsonville)

image 1image 2

1972 pontiac gto manual transmission

This is the last of the true muscle cars!! will sell for cash or possibly trade.
let me start off with this. I bought the car with full intent of restoring. but then I encountered a 70 gto ( i like them more) so the gto wins! I thought this was one but its a (sport) 4 speed car 1 of 5,000 ish. still a rare car with a goat front clip. The engine in this thing is mean, infact its PISSED OFF!! delivering gobbs of torque and 450hp. the 400 in this car mated with the 4 speed is a great combo. mated with a locker 10 bolt 3.73 rear end you can imagine this car is looking for a fight.
This car will need a restoration on the body as the paint is ametuer. actually the worst i have ever seen. will need quarter skins and a trunk floor. You can drive it while fixing it though!!

again this car is very photogenic!!!!
may trade the car without drive train and would consider selling it without it also.
Things i'd consider as a trade.
69-78 firebird or trans am. 69-81 camaro or Z28. 70-72 chevelle 55-57 chevy. mopars, coronet, superbee, challenger, charger, gtx roadrunner, sattelite belvedere no darts or dusters (YUCK)
maybe an old good running c10 or f100. I love trucks from the 40's 50's and 60's
maybe a corvette? hot rod rat rod? what you have?

may consider other cars like cutlass etc. no boats, snomobiles, quads, motorcycles or any crap like that. may trade even up or your trade along with your cash. willing to off with just the car no motor or trans or full car up do you and depends on what you have. Shoot me an email with what you have and we can go from there. delivery is not an option. I have no trailer. theres white stuff on the ground, no test drives!
6,500 with motor 3 without.

no i dont want your junk. I dont want sunfires, neons if you know your car is worth 1000 and dont have the rest of the money please dont waste either of our times.
I am asking a realistic price and i expect you to do the same.

****** He says he found a 70 GTO that he'd rather have, so this car has to go. So explain why is he listing all the cars he is willing to trade for? The car is photogenic, yet he only has two pictures of it, both with sun glare. I wonder if he has paperwork to back up that 450 hp 400 engine. -Luke

GT182 12-30-2013 12:56 PM

I see he's scared to list his asking price. LOL

gto_70 12-30-2013 01:19 PM

He has made some updates the car is $6,000 or after he takes anything that might be good off it and then it's $3,400...remember the hood alone is $1,800.
Here's the ad with contact info for those interested.

http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/cto/4264544124.html

Also remember from the first ad, he will trade for your Corvette, Camaro, Superbee etc etc

$3,000 for a rolling body, but you can drive it while you're fixing it. I dunno, maybe if you get the 4-speed, and it's a M22, $3K isn't too far off. But I bet he wants to keep the 4-speed with the motor.
*edit* Scratch that. I didn't see the second ad. Now the price went up to $3400 and no motor or trans, no clutch pedals, no Rally wheels....
wishy washy dude will either never sell it or end up taking $4,000 for the complete car.

I can't tell if the quarters are full of mud, or if it's just crappy paint work.

rexs73gto 12-30-2013 11:36 PM

I think your right the 1/4's are full mud not just full of mud. He is right though it's a bad paint job. Part it out & get the # 1800.00 for the wonderful hood. HAHA
