2016 Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race Sept 15, 16, & 17
Next weekend is the Premiere Pure Stock Race in the country, kind of like the NHRA US Nationals are in the drag racing world. We encourage all muscle car owners to do what these cars were meant to do, and I don't mean collecting dust and a trophy or two at static car shows, but rather, burn some rubber and make some noise and learn to tune and drive your muscle car to better and better times. The comradery cannot be matched nor can the action (from a restored muscle car perspective that is).

Jody, I'm proud of you for breaking in your '72 GTO the right way, at the Pure Stock Drags! Frank, Charlie and Chuck Lombardi from NJ always haul their Chevys to the event every year, so come on out to watch and talk to the car owners and see what you can do for next year. Everyone's first year has the same reaction...why did I wait so long to do this...and they are hooked. The current weather reports look perfect! Dennis |

just got back from the banzai run with my "new" ride from the "rent-a-racer program". cowboy hat not included, or at least I didn't find it.
since my usual red pontiac 400 4sp car is getting repaired, I'll be in a different red pontiac 400 4sp car |

Racing aside...
this is one of the best car shows you'll ever attend. Looks like all the "Best of Show" cars got together! Can't believe I'm gonna miss it...again!!
