1975 Firebird Saudi Car
 

Hi, just got in a 75 espirt for parting out and a mate said it looks like a saudi car because
of all chrome its got, my question is i have never seen a f-body with chrome rear light bezels, door mirrors, fender braces, interior pieces, etc. i'll get some pics later. my question is was it a factory thing with the chrome? does have on the cowl tag SAD..

Someone other than the factory chrome those parts. SAD = saddle paint used on interior.

you say saddle paint? the interior is saddle on cowl tag and does look to be painted. thought someone had stained it, they never painted them at factory did they?

No, it saddle paint for things like the dash metal and the rear window metal strip.

That's true, I wasn't thinking of the metal areas.
Thinking more of the plastic/vinyl stuff.

Yes they used paint also.
