1973/74 4X cylinder heads

A nice matching set of 73/74 4X cylinder heads. Date code is H253 and H283. These are 4H with 98.94 cc’s. I’ve never seen these run. These were pulled from a 74 400 many years ago that I put aluminum heads on instead. The engine itself was complete and in good shape, if that helps any. These have been stored in my garage over 10yrs since that build. Local pick up in Williamsport, Pa. $175

there were three different secondary codes on the '73-74 4X -400 heads,
with the 400 2bbl version having the smaller 1.96" intake valves.

have gone through core supply's of Pontiac cyl heads before looking for 2.11-1.66 400 4X heads.. In every case, was looking for a certain date range pair to be rebuilt, & then go on a '73 or '74 TransAm's original 455 Dport shortblock.
