Worth anything?

A few years ago I wouldn't have even bothered to ask. But, these days, prices are so generally insane and some things are hard enough to come by, I almost always ask now.

Is there any value in the original timing belt from an OHC 6? (Sprint motor if that makes a difference)

In the past I would've thought that was a ridiculous question. But, we live in crazy times.

As in USED? No.

New ones are avail, just not at the Parts Store.

If it's in good condition and has never been overexposed to UV and/or oil soak just keep it as a spare.

I use an OE belt to run tests now and then on projects but that's about it.

I also have a couple OHC 6 blocks(9787437 and 9782000), cranks, rods that were disassembled 40+ years ago and left sit. Because of this, they would need to go through the machine shop before there was any possibility of using them. Are they worth anything other than scrap?

depends on engine code and for someone really picky the casting dates.
unless the buyer is local it usually costs more to ship than its worth

I knew my market would be really small because of shipping issues. Hoping I can find someone local who could use them.

PARTS VALUE

On this site, I would say very little, just due to the low number of Cammers here.

Even if you can't sell them, they may have value to another Cammer in your area who may be willing to come pick them up.

Not sure if you're aware of our OHC 6 Facebook forum or not but it has a fair number of members and I would say post your parts there as well as here.

As far as shipping large bits, I always prefer the seller to use Fastenal.
This IMO is the most economical way to ship engines and/or engine parts.

Cheers.
