Master Cylinder

What is the correct 2 letter code on the front pad of a 73 T/A master Cylinder with power front disc brakes?

Is it a 409 casting?

I assume it`s a rectangle master.

Thanks KC

NO "EB" on the machined pad, but some have a CS as I recall.

Casting 5470409, application code CS and date code on front line pad.

While I thought this is correct, no reason to doubt it, All the '73's I have and have seen are either so weak in stamping, or No stamp was used on the "pad" due to the easy to
identify sticker for the assembly line workers. The build sheet did have a CS code for PB.

So it is a rectangle master, I think 69 was the last year for a oval master cyl.

And it is a 409 casting, but does anyone have a original master with the 2 letter stamp on the front pad?

The CS code is the build sheet code for the entire master & booster assembly I believe.

Thanks KC

This is the original MC on my 15K mile 1973 TA. As you can see, the front pad is not machined like the 1970-72 MC’s were.
