Yeah, so are the refs!

Not making excuses as GB IS the better team today, but TWO uncalled helmet to helmets on the QB, GB int. line holding all day, but they do throw a grounding flag on Rodgers, of course they had to discuss it first.

But they throw a below the knees flag on the Eagles QB, and he didn't even hit anyone. WTF!

67drake 11-16-2014 08:07 PM

I agree, that first helmet shot should have drawn a flag. I don't know if the refs didn't see it or not? Sanchez looked rattled after that. The Pack looks fired up though. I don't know if the game would be a whole lot different if Sanchez was on his A game anyway.
BTW,I heard the Viqueens lost.

Torquewar 11-16-2014 09:56 PM

Well i was having a bad day and then my Eagles get a big kickin..ahhh
Pack was on fire and played a fantastic game, offensive and defensive boys did there job with conviction.
Move on to next week....

cuz68 11-17-2014 12:47 AM

I have been out here for going on 23 years and it is home, I do miss my family members and grandkids. Never imagined that long ago that I would be the "less seen" grandparents.

But with everything I have out here moving back now would be real tough.

Not to mention, when I do go back to visit, it has REALLY gotten congested out there, usually about 3 days and I'm ready to come home.

I enjoy the peace and solitude out here, excellent roads, decent people, very low crime, and all of the other things that go with small town living.

Besides, I really do have it made, town of 500 people, I walk two blocks from my home to my office, and I can sit on the front porch on the weekend with my feet up on the railing and watch BOTH cars drive by!

No car insp. No emissions, get a title for an old car with just a bill of sale, antique plates 25.00 per year, LOL

But some things will never die,

GO EAGLES!!!:D

Sounds like a great place to live. My wife and I thought about moving to Clearwater Beach, but our kids would be heart broken. Well our Eagles really got an ass kicken by the Packers!
Hope they recover for next week.

Hey Phil, yes they did, but I guess they are in good company since nobody wins in GB. I do like it out here, probably the biggest issue (aside from seeing the relatives) is that it was a "lateral" move, IOW we have about the same weather.

If I had to do it again, I would have moved a bit farther south, which global warming would hurry up and get here!:D

Was in Clearwater two years ago this month. I loved it there!

The Eagles secondary sucked. Rodgers took advantage of fletcher and casey Williams with the long ball down the field. Nate Allen couldn't hit water if you threw him out of a boat. They just need to put carroll in and brandin boykin to replace one of them. Other than that the Packers played a good game.

My wife and I run away from the snow every winter and stay in Clearwater Beach. We watch the Phillies spring training, and I watch the spring breakers on the beach.

All you got to do is get old. Retired from Honeywell a number of years ago and never looked back.

No Kidding. Did you not think I knew this from my post?

No I didn't, and yes, I am.
Did you forget 1987 was a strike year also? Each team had one game scrubbed from their schedule.

What I should have said was - The Packers are the only team to go 25 years without scoring a single TD in the playoffs of a full regulation season.
And during that stretch of awfulness, they also won the Central division during the Bud Grant/Fran Tarkenton era.

The Pack looks like the best team in the league right now. They may have to play the Pats again in February. After watching the Bears all year, nice to watch two real NFL teams!

It sure was a good game! I was a little worried for my packers for a little while but was really glad to see them pull through. I would like to see them match up again this season

The Champ 11-30-2014 10:22 PM

My grandson was at the game today with official "tickets" given to him by his father - who had won them at a golf outing in Wisconsin Dells. Whoever "donated" the tickets evidently sold them and emailed them to someone else.

So...

My grandson got to the game with a female friend of his and the tickets weren't any good.

Good thing Packer games never sell out - the ticket office sold them valid tickets - and they got to see the game.

His female friend left Lambeau happy as she is a Packer fan. My grandson is a Patriots fan. These two have been friends for 10+ years - so I'm sure their drive home to Madison, WI will have some interesting discussions.

I'm assuming his dad will be getting a hold of the organizers of the golf outing to find out who the scum bag Packer season ticket holder is...
