Just for fun, I went to their E-bay store and looked at some other cars they had for sale. Looked at a 69 Cutlass for 37K. It looked better than the 68/69 GTO. I am sure it had plenty of problems...

i have the xr276 in a 40 over 455 with iron ported 1970 #15s so about 9.8 to 1. i am running 1.5s it is a great combo on the street. i think with your added flow and compression, i would run 1.65s...

I respectfully disagree. Maybe some 0000 steel wool at most. Never use sandpaper or emery cloth on a gear surface. At least I wouldn't.
