Held for Ransom gave me your id. I just a acquired an 74 SD w 65k but the back is completely rusted out. I have the bare block and heads. I need some direction on this restoration as I haven't done anything like this before.Esp. the rear sheet metal. I've posted on the 74 web page. I do have an original SD I ordered new w 39k,blue with min options. This car just has tilt and power windows and is white. Any help would be appreciated.I do have common sense but not a lot of $. So I'll need to take my time and do it right. My cars are drivers but clean and not trailer except the race car. Thanks Bob.

    Steve,

Check out the '70-'73 Firebird forum when you get a chance. There's a new poster who says he bought an SD Trans Am back in 1981 in either Lincoln or Omaha from someone with a collection of Super Duties. He's looking for another SD and he's hoping to find the person who sold him his first Super Duty.

    Jim
