Yes I have heard of the Indian Uprising, big event. I have yet to make one though and now there is a reason to attend and will look to see if I can plan it. That would be neat! Thank you for keeping me in mind for Big Red too Really the only national events I've attended have been the TA Nats and the PSN (DAPA club sponsored event) and some Autorama's. I do however attend the Bandit Run events (several) and stay in touch with those guys. But I would like to attend other events as well like woodward dream cruise. So many places to go and usually not enough time to go to them all... LOL

Shawn, I don't have any plans of parting with Big Red in the near future but if I ever do, you certainly will have the first opportunity to own it. I hope to meet up with you at some time. There is a great Pontiac show close to my home here in St. Charles called the Indian Uprising with over 400 cars. I usually host a gathering prior to the show and would love to have you come, meet some of the local Pontiac guys whom you probably already know of, go to the show, and see Big Red again. It's in the same shape as you remember. Let me know if that's a possibility. Its really a great time.

Thank you for the kind message and the befriending, I just wanted to say that I spent many, many hours helping Mike detail that car on the undercarriage prior to any car show. Very tedious work but the pay off was well worth it. If there is any chance on earth of you every parting with it I wish that I could have a shot at buying it from you. Mike gave me first chance but at the time I was trying to buy a house and funds weren't available. But if you don't ever get rid of it I would at least like to admire it again in the future. We have never met but I wanted to express my condolences to you and your family. I enjoyed my conversations with Mike and appreciate the fact that he was gracious enough to sell me his SD. His memory will live with me and the car. I will always make sure that the history of his ownership of this car is preserved.
